No. This year nobody is going to join IIIT Gwalior. Because no one could clear it's admission criteria. This year it's ranking was higher than IIT Bombay CSE. Also one more point was added that the whole fees has to be paid during the admission only which was 78 lacs. Educational qualifications have also changed this year. One has to be a red zone coder on Codeforces.
So unfortunately no one could qualify. Those who had backlogs will continue in this year's batch as full timer

After giving State Engineering Entrance exam and getting marks above cut off, you can go for counselling which generally starts after one month of result declaration there you will have options of locking seats in different colleges and in different branches and this Counselling generally goes up to 3 to 5 round including where you can free or float the option of locked college then after you will be called for document verification at the locked selected college or it may be any college nearby you. For getting into counseling you may have to pay registration fees which may or may not refundable, generally, it is not refundable. Finall
