If you are getting B.com in Maitreyi college then you should opt for that college because infrastructure wise it is very good and students feel it is much better than the most other DU colleges. Since it is a girl college majority of the faculty is female as well there is a good mix of senior and junior professor all of you are quite friendly and never hold grudges.

Doing engineering from IPU is also a good step as IPU is also a government college as current scenario is that every student is behind the technical field. So, if you are interested in engineering, it's better to go for Indraprastha University.

Hi,
See, IPU is just best for BJMC i.e BA(JMC) these days.Tecnia will help you achieve your goal of becoming a journalist. When I joined TIAS, there was no placement procedure for students of any stream, but from last year, TIAS has opened the gate for its students' placements. We have labs for each and every sector of media, that will help you to learn and grasp things practically. 3 years ago, the last seat of BJMC got frozen on 2600 rank in TIAS. As the years are changing, the competition is increasing and fewer racks are filled by seats. So I'll suggest, if you are getting a seat, just grab it as soon as possible.
All the best!

Yes you can pursue MBA in HR. MBA doesn't require to be graduate in specific field. Your degree in sociology will give you benefit if you pursue MBA in HR as it is somehow related to it. Also it will be good for your career.
