If you want to do MBA in HR as correspondence then opt for NIBM(National Institute Of Business Management).NIBM is globally accredited by IAO (International Accreditation Organization) and it offers 1 year and 2 year MBA programs. Autonomous can mean that the course is run by the academic council of the institute and is not recognised by UGC/AICTE/DEC. The course might have been designed and developed by the institute. Another meaning of autonomous can be 'self financing' which mean that they are recognised, but they are not receiving any financial support from the government or other agencies. Always a UGC/AICTE recognised programme is advisable.
