Living on-campus is better for Indian students looking for safety and ease of travel. It also offers better socialising with peers. All utility costs (electricity, TV, etc.) are also covered.
However, areas like Wavertree offer more cost-effective housing to Indian students in Liverpool. Some private halls also offer better amenities (like gyms and social spaces).
Most Indian students live on-campus in the 1st year and move out by the 2nd or 3rd year once they get comfortable in the city.

Liverpool is usually safe for Indian students. The locals are welcoming and the city has a vibrant culture. Apart from occasional cases of racism, students don't encounter too many isssues.
Wavertree, Toxteth, Mossley Hill, and Allerton are the safest areas for Indian students in Liverpool.

Yes, Indian students can combine scholarships at the Uni of Liverpool. However, the rules for doing that varies for different scholarships.
Ususally, students are allowed to pair merit-based awards with subject-specific ones. However, scholarships like the International Excellence Award or the Qatar Excellence scholarship cannot be combined.

The initial fee deposit for Indian students at the Uni of Liverpool is GBP 2,000 (INR 2.45 Lakhs). This deposit only applies to PG students. The university does not provide any information on the payment of a tuition deposit for UG students.

For UG courses, upto 2 gap years are allowed. PG courses allow a gap of 3 to 5 years.
