Yes, you can pursue M.Sc in Neuroscience in India with a B.Sc in Microbiology and Food Technology from MCM DAV, provided you meet the eligibility criteria of the university. Yes, you may be eligible to pursue a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, but it depends on the specific university's criteria. Microbiology entrance exams can range from medium to advanced in terms of difficulty. The difficulty level is also determined by - Individual capabilities, Syllabus for exam as well as the time frame dedicated towards the preparation. To get admitted to an MSc Microbiology programme now, you'll need to meet the eligibility criteria, which typically includes a relevant Bachelor's degree (like BSc Microbiology) and potentially passing an entrance exam. Since your BSc was in 2009, you'll need to check if any time-related restrictions exist for the specific programs you're interested in.

To study Microbiology in most Mumbai colleges, you usually do not need to give an entrance exam. Admission to B.Sc. in Microbiology is mostly merit-based, depending on your Class 12 marks in Science stream, especially Biology. However, some private or autonomous colleges may conduct internal assessments or interviews during the admission process.

The usual stipend is 8,000 rupees per month under the UGC Non-NET Fellowship. Some universities may offer a bit more through their own internal fellowships, but it depends on the institution and available funding. Private or research-focused universities sometimes provide higher stipends, but that's not very common. So, unless you're funded through a project or internal scheme, INR 8,000/month is the standard.
