Yes, the institute accepts students from a recognized board for B.Tech who have achieved around 45% in their 12th grade. The entry is based on merit and direct; a candidate can apply to Monark University, solely based on the Class 12 results and not through entrance exam numbers like JEE Mains. Thus, it proves easier for more individuals searching for engineering degrees to get access to the institute.

Generally speaking, Monark University is regarded as a Tier 2. Many undergraduate and graduate degrees are available, and it has accreditation from reputable organizations like the AICTE and NAAC. It is not, however, typically placed among India's top-tier (Tier 1) universities, which include establishments like IITs and IIMs that are well-known both domestically and internationally. Monark places more of an emphasis on cheap education and regional influence.
