The entrance exam scores accepted by N. M. College of Agriculture for admission to the B.Sc. Agriculture program include the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) and the exam scores of ICAR AIEEA (Indian Council of Agricultural Research All India Entrance Examination for Admission). Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics to be eligible for the program.

The Gujarati government's Krushi and Gram Vikas Vibhag and the University Grants Commission (UGC) both recognize Navsari Agricultural University. Over the past five years, NAU has received the following rankings from the ICAR: 12th (2016), 9th (2017), 14th (2018), 42nd (2019), and 31st (2020).
