Yes, National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology as a good Institute. Here are some factors:-

Placements: The students are very satisfied with their placements, which are at around 100%. Placement for B.Tech students is approximately 10 LPA. The campus is mostly visited by core companies, such as JSW, Vedanta, and TATA Metallic, who give average packages of about 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: Rooms are tastefully decorated with the best amenities for drinking water, and hostels are well-equipped with contemporary amenities. Undoubtedly, the campus is not large enough, but it has adequate facilities. All hostels have free wi-fi available

National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

M.E./M.TechCandidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with minimum of 60% marks for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC or at least 6.5 CGPA (on
a 10- point scale) and 55% marks in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates or 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) from a recognised university/Institute.
Final year appearning students may also apply on provisional basis.
Candidate must have a valid GATE Score of the year 2020 / 2021 / 2022.
Candidate who has passed from any of the professional societies such as The Institution of Engineers (India) (IE), The Institution of Civil
Engineers (ICE), The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), The Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, including Polymer and Environmental Group (IIChemE), The Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), The Indian Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), etc. ) and has enrolled with these institutions with permanent recognition up to May 31, 2013 can also apply.
UG DiplomaCandidate must have passed Diploma in automobile/ metallurgical/ mechanical/
production/ manufacturing engineering/ B.Sc. degree with physics, chemistry and
mathematics with 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST)
B.E. / B.TechCandidate with below mentioned eligibility are also eligible:
Final examination of the 2-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the NDA.
SSC Examination conducted by the NIOS with a minimum of 5 subjects.
A Diploma recognised by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 year duration.
General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
