The best books to prepare for NDA are the NCERTs. These are government books, and they are the best place to start your preparation. The NCERTs help you build a strong foundation in every subject. These books are also used by exam administrators to create question Sets. For classes nine and up, you can refer to the NCERT for mathematics. You can use Science and social Science textbooks starting in sixth grade for GK. Aside from these, you can consult reference books by SP Bakshi, R S Agrawal, Lucent, and others. No, NCERT books are not enough for NDA preparation. To master each subject, you will need to consult some other practice books and other reference materials. The NCERTs are a crucial part of preparation for the math paper and the GK section of the GAT. These books help build a strong foundation for paper as well as being reliable government sources. However, you will need some other preparation material, such as sectional practice books. You can find a detailed list of books that can help you prepare here: https://www.shiksha.com/exams/nda-exam-books.

Simply studying diligently won't suffice for your NDA preparation. For a thorough study, you must have an exam strategy and consult the best NDA Books. Stick to your study schedule and set aside a few hours each day to thoroughly review the syllabus. Know the NDA Exam syllabus and structure, create a schedule, keep your fundamentals clear, make notes on crucial areas, take mock exams and practice tests using previous years' question papers, improve your general knowledge, and then go over everything again.
