It is possible. Nowadays, fashion designing is indeed a great career option.Yes, you can join this course after B.Tech. Fashion industry is booming. No one can live without clothes right. There are so many jobs in this field apart from fashion designer. You can get into visual merchandising, fashion managing, corporate communications, sales and so on. If you are into only Fashion designing, then you need to be very creative. Basically, you should know the color schemes and how to play with them, min of stitching techniques, how, what, and why fashion is important kind of things.

First of all, visit the official site of NIFT and get the complete knowledge about the eligibility criteria, subjects to be studied, pattern of paper, exam schedule i.e. When forms will be out and when is the exam, what are important books to be studies and get previous year question paper. Get all these details and then go about the preparation. Good luck.

NIFT exam mostly take place in month of January. For now, NIFT has not declared its dates for year 2019.

NIFT entrance exam will be organized by National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). It is a national level examination. NIFT offers admissions in various UG and PG courses in the field of fashion and technology. Through this exam students will get admission in B. Des, B.FTech M.Des and MFM programmes. This exam is organized once in a year. The university will organize CAT (Creative Ability Test) and GAT (General Ability Test) to offer admission. Yes, you can apply for the NIFT exam 2019 and can appear in it. It is generally conducted in the month of January, and registrations starts in October month. And counselling will start in July so that means at the time of counselling you would have passed the 12th standard. So, go ahead for the exam you are eligible for it.
