The application form for NIIFT 2025 is open from Janaury 2025. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for their programme can apply. The last date to fill out the form is August 14, 2025.

To participate in NIIFT counselling, the candidate must have qualified in the NIIFT entrancee exam. Candidates will be called based on thier NIIFT Score for the counselling rounds.

The counseling of NIIFT will be conducted after results of the entrance exam are declared. The counselling will be held in multiple rounds. In the previous year, there were three counselling rounds.

No. The NIIFT authorities have not specified any age limit. However, make sure that you go through the academic and other requirements. Note that unless the candidate meets the prescribed criteria, he or she will not be considered for admission to the design courses offered by the institute.

The admit card was available on the official website of the institute. Candidates' could download the admit card by entering their log-in credentials.
Admit cards will be issued to all candidates who successfully complete the application process. On exam day, you need to bring the admit card and a valid photo ID proof.

Yes. Candidates awaiting their results can apply but the student needs to have all their mark sheets and should provide the certificate before the classes commence.
The candidate can select their programme of study at the time of filling out the application form. The allotment of seats will be based on merit of NIIFT 2025 entrance exam.

NIIFT entrance exam pattern for UG design courses is such that the question paper is divided into five sections – Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Analytical Ability, and Creative Ability.
The candidate has to prepare for all the sections to get a good score in the NIIFT exam.

Candidates who fulfil any of the below-mentioned parameters are eligible to appear for NIIFT entrance exam for admission in PG design courses.
- Hold a degree in BSc/ BTech/ BE
- Hold a degree in BA/ BCom/ BBA/ BCA with any one of the mandatory subjects from – Mathematics/ Computers/ Fashion/ Accounts/ Economics/ Marketing/ Statistics/ Management / Textiles/ Home Science

Candidates who fulfil any of the below-mentioned parameters are eligible to appear for NIIFT entrance exam for admission in UG design courses.
- Cleared Class XII from any recognised central/ state board.
- Appeared for General Certificate Education (GCE) exam (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at an advanced level.
- Cleared any public school/ board/ university exam in India or abroad recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.
- Cleared Class XII exam (with a minimum of five subjects) conducted by National Open School.
- Hold a 3 or 4-year Diploma recognised by the State Board of Technical Education or AICTE.

NIIFT is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT). The design exam is conducted once a year. The candidate needs to appear in the exam as per the schedule released by the institute.
Note that application forms for the exam will be accepted in online mode.
