The institute has not released the specialisation-wise NIT Durgapur highest packages. However, the NIT Durgapur CSE average package has been released. As per the official statistics, the average package 2024 for the BTech CSE branch stood at INR 21.45 LPA. Of all the branches, CSE recorded the highest average package. Further, the overall average package for BTech was INR 7.35 LPA, which was almost 46% lesser in comparison to the average package offered in 2023.

To apply for NIT Durgapur MBA admission, candidates must visit the official website of the institute to register themselves. NIT Durgapur offers admission to the MBA course on the basis of a valid CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT entrance test scores. Eligible candidates are called for the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI). Once the selection rounds are over, the institute releases a merit list of selected candidates. Such candidates are required to confirm their seat by paying the programme fee.
