ECE at NIT Hamirpur is very excellent as college gives 90% of placement in core companies. Staff is also very good and well educated. You will get better exposure in this branch as well as in this college because NIT Hamirpur is known for its ECE department very well.

NIT Hamirpur is really good one for ECE. It has a good campus infrastructure and facilities with well qualified faculty members. The placements are also good with the average package for ECE being around INR. 5-6 LPA with nearly 90 percent students getting placed every year. Sir as you mentioned that you have secured 180757 rank in JEE Mains accordingly you have not even clear the cut off for JEE Mains 2019 which is 76.31 percentile for obc category, so you will get very low level colleges if you apply through your JEE Mains score, try for private institutes such as srm, vit and bits.

If you belong to General category then it's not possible for you to get admission in NITs. If you belong to other category, then there might be a chance for you to get admission in lower rank NITs.

There is no school category in JEE Main. However if you belongs to SC category than you can get the following NITs.
1. NIT Jalandhar
2. NIT Hamirpur
3. NIT located in. Eastern region like NIT Arunachal Pradesh, NIT Mizoram etc.
4. NIT Calicut
5. NIT Srinagar.
