Those who pass Class 12 in any discipline from a recognised board are eligible to apply for admission to a three-year BBA course at IMS Noida. Admission to this course is entirely entrance-based. In order to get admission to BBA, candidates have to appear for Joint Entrance Test (JET), which is conducted by the institute itself. To apply for this exam, candidates can visit the official website of IMS Noida and fill an online application form along with paying an application amount of INR 1,050.

IMS Noida offers various UG and PG courses ranging in duration from two to three years in the stream of Management & Computer Applications. The institute also offers a five-year integrated course in Journalism & Law. Admission to all courses is entirely entrance-based. The institute conducts its own entrance exam for admission to all its courses. IMS Noida courses are affiliated with two universities, namely CCS University & AKTU.

MBA application forms are available in July and August, while NIMSEE registration for UG programs, such as BBA, begins in December, and admission applications to the NIMS Institute of Management and Commerce must be submitted by April or May. They accept CAT/MAT, etc. scores for the MBA program. MBA application forms are available online on the institute's website in July and August. Applications and registration forms for NIMSEE are typically made available in December.

Based on entrance exam results, direct admission to MBA programs is possible. NIMS accepts CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA scores for its MBA program. Applicants may apply straight from these scores.
NIMS conducts the NIMSEE entrance exam, which is required for students pursuing BBA, BCA, B.Com, BA (JMC), and other undergraduate programs.Only applicants who have passed the NIMSEE exam are eligible to continue with the admissions process. Generally, direct admission is prohibited without NIMSEE.

120 students are enrolled in the BBA programme at NIMS Institute of Management and Commerce, with the most seats available for the Marketing specialization. There are about 120 seats available for BBA students overall when all specializations are combined.
The 120 seats are distributed as follows among the various specializations-

  • Business Analytics (BBA): 15 seats
  • Marketing BBA: 50 seats
  • Finance: 35 seats in the BBA
  • Human Resources - BBA: 20 seats
