Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), Greater Noida is one of the premier Engineering and Management institutes, managed by City Educational & Social Welfare Society. The Institute is duly approved by the AICTE and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). According to NIRF 2020, NIET is ranked 49 for Pharmacy and is in the band of 201-250 among Engineering institutes in India.

At present, the Institute offers nearly 36 programmes at UG and PG level. These programmes are offered in a number of streams, including Engineering, Management, Pharmacy and Computer Applications. NIET admission process is conducted through UPSEE for all the courses and its application window generally opens in the last week of January every year.

The Institute promotes innovation and start-ups by providing a platform for youngsters to create cutting-edge technology and enterprises through its NIET incubator. NIET also has a Pyramid Finishing School (PFS), where students are trained according to the industry requirements, not only in the areas of soft skills, life skills, technical skills and etiquettes but also, exposing them to time management, teamwork and project management. This process is initiated in the early semesters of the core programmes by blending it with their standard curricula. The concept has resulted in a steep increase in the employability of NIET students. 

1. Registration: Candidates need to register themselves on the official website of Noida International University for the counseling process. They may need to provide their personal details, academic qualifications, and other relevant information.
2. Choice Filling: After registration, candidates are usually required to fill in their preferred choices of courses and specialization. They can select from the available options based on their interests and eligibility.
3. Document Verification: Once the choice filling is completed, candidates are usually required to upload or submit their relevant documents for verification. These documents may include educational certificates, identity proof, photographs, etc.
4. Seat Allotment: Based on the candidate's choices, merit, and availability of seats, the university will conduct the seat allotment process. Candidates will be allotted seats in their preferred courses and specialisation based on their rank and eligibility.
5. Payment of Fees: After seat allotment, candidates need to pay the required fees to confirm their admission. The payment can usually be made online through the university's designated payment portal.
6. Reporting to the University: Once the fees are paid, candidates need to report to the university within the specified time period. They may need to physically visit the university campus or complete any additional online formalities as instructed by the university.

The eligibility criteria for Noida International University varies depending on the course of study. Here are some of the eligibility criteria for different courses:

• B.Sc (Hons.) Biotechnology and Microbiology: 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in aggregate
• Diploma/Polytechnic: Minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) 
• B.Sc: Minimum 50% marks in aggregate
• BBA and Integrated courses: Candidates must have passed Diploma (Engg.) or B.Sc. and obtained minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• Class 12: Candidates need to pass Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical
• Higher Secondary Education: For undergraduate courses, the candidate must have completed his/her higher secondary education from a recognised board
