There is no direct admission for law in Alliance university, they consider CLAT and LSAT scores which is followed by a personal interview

Private universities are also established by passing an Act in state legislature and with UGC approval hence they are valid
However, private universities have very limited power while awarding their degree. For instances, if they award degree through distance learning, off campus and outside the campus where they have approval, such degrees are invalid. So you must ensure, you are pursuing such degrees from their campus only as mentioned in UGC website
Second, in India except very few, handful private universities rest all are disastrous and very poor in quality and more focussed on selling degrees
