P.K. University is regarded as a Tier 2 university. It is not categorized as a Tier 1 university, which usually refers to top-ranking institutions with national and international recognition, cutting-edge research facilities, and a high placement rate like IITs, NITs, IIMs, NIDs, IISC Bangalore, etc.
P.K. University and other Tier 2 universities frequently cater to regional student populations. Compared to Tier 1 colleges, their placement chances, research oppurtunities, exposure and national or international recognition are all more restricted, even though they might provide good academic programs.
