There are several institutes for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Course. My friend just has completed his 3 days of training course from the Asian Institute of Quality Management. He expressed his experience to me, He said the Trainer was really very knowledgeable. It is managed by experts with I. T. / I. M. background & it is accredited by ASCB (Europe) Ltd. - UK. So I guess you should go do Six Sigma Greenbelt course from the same institute. Usually, other institutes also provide Six Sigma Certification but they get expire after every 3 to 4 years and we've to renew it again and again but AIQM provides Lifetime certification which means you don't need to renew it all the time. Lean Six Sigma is an overall management strategy for measuring and improving performance across different processes in the organisation. It helps us to identify and reduce variation in all processes of the organisation by applying statistical tools in a disciplined manner and controlling processes to get the desired results. There are various levels of Six Sigma 1. White Belt, 2. Yellow Belt, 3. Green Belt and 4. Black Belt. The Six sigma level runs like the food chain, you can purse White Belt and Yellow Belt directly but if you want to do Green Belt then you must be qualified yellow belt if you are from management field then you must have 2 years of experience where B.Tech or other technical students can purse Green Belt directly without having any experience or having yellow belt certification. Then if you wish to do Black Belt then you must be Green Belt holder, experience or other qualification doesn't matter in the case of Black Belt if you are Green Belt holder then you will be eligible for Black Belt. As you asked the benefit so I would take an example as you know every company needs good employees and good management systems which reduce expenses or losses so Six Sigma is a qualification which helps to reduce losses.
Six Sigma is overall management which improves performance. Usually, Big MNCs hire Six Sigma qualified candidates. We all know when America had launched a bomb on Nagasaki, Japan then after few years America sent some Employees to settling the Economic of Japan then the Employees made a Six Sigma process there that's why now Japan Economics has stood up. Yes, Six Sigma founded in 1986 but earlier there was no name of this Management so the name of Six Sigma had come up in 1986.
