In order to be eligible to enroll in the M.Tech course at Punjab Engineering College (PEC), one must obtain the established cutoff marks in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) test. After this, the candidates need to go through the admission exercise enabled by the Centralized Counselling of M.Tech. (CCMT). CCMT allocates seats according to the GATE scores of the candidates and other requirements, making the admission process at the various institutions fair and uniform.
