Yes, Quantum University follows the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) for admissions to BTech courses. The Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) is a versatile and flexible option for each student to achieve their target number of credits as specified by the UGC and adopted by the university. No, NID DAT (Prelims) is not compulsory for admissions to BSc courses. The admission process for BSc courses is merit-based. Except for BSc in Gaming and UI/UX and BSc in Animation and VFX, merit in NID DAT (Prelims) will be given preference. Therefore, just for these two specialisations, the university considers the scores of the NID DAT (Prelims). Rest, candidates can get admissions to BSc courses on the basis of merit, evaluated on the basis of candidates' Class 12 scores.

Admission to the BSc course at Quantum University is both merit-based and entrance-based. Candidates are evaluated based on their Class 12 scores. Moreover, the university also accepts the valid scores of NID DAT (Prelims) for admissions to some of the BSc specialisations. Additionally, a minimum aggregate of 45% to 50% is required in Class 12 for admissions to the BSc course. However, the merit cutoff may vary each academic year.
