Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE is an online national-level examination conducted for Master of Engineering (ME), Masters in Technology (MTech). To get into M.Tech programme in IIIT Bhagalpur candidates have to appear for the GATE exam. The GATE exam is usually conducted in February every year.

JEE Main
JEE Main is the primary mode of admission to the BTech programme at LNMIIT. No, it is not possible to get direct admission to The LNM Institute of Information Technology Jaipur (LNMIIT) with a JEE score of 300. Direct admission is only offered to the top 2 board toppers of all the Central and State recognised boards in India who publish authorized Merit List indicating ranks. To be eligible for direct admission, candidates must have passed the Class 12th examination with an aggregate of at least 60% marks or equivalent grade.
With a JEE score of 300, you are unlikely to be eligible for direct admission to LNMIIT. However, you can still apply for admission through the Regular Mode through the Central Seat Alloca

LNM Institute of Information Technology Jaipur had released the cutoff for 2023 admissions. Based on previous year trends the following is an estimated cutoff for the top branches:
- Computer Science and Engineering: 97 percentile
- Electronics and Communication Engineering: 96 percentile
- Information Technology: 95 percentile
