Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU Kota) offers scholarships to postgraduate, undergraduate, and various other course students. The university provides Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for Academic Excellence (RGS), Balika Distance Education Scheme, and various other scholarship and education schemes to students. Since the students of VMOU are distant learners belonging to various regions of Rajasthan, the libraries at Vardhman Mahaveer Open University look into the library requirements of students, staff, and others. The library has a huge collection of books related to the Social Sciences, Humanities, Science & Technology, and various other disciplines.

VMOU Kota has a central library and has important sections such as Circulation, Stack, Technical, Acquisition, Periodical, Audio-Visual, Reference, Computer Lab, and others. The universitie's central library is open on all days except the university holidays.
