When you are not able to give internal exams you have to notify and take permission from the college in advance after giving the valid reason. And when the reexams are conducted by the college for all the students who didn't clear the exams you have to register for exam at that time. Till the time you are promoted to senior class but you have clear all the backlogs to get your degree.

You're not in line for promotion next year, you can just go to the lectures and stuff. However, the vast majority of people don't go because after a couple of months they have another reexam and are preparing for it at home. But in this course, they miss the first internals of second year and then they have to give them at the end of second year. If you can pass the reexam, there will be a mental race and cover up all those backlogs of 2nd year to reach other levels. And in a few months your second year finals exam is going to happen.

New students should join college with full enthusiasm and approach to explore each and every opportunity you come across and then take a wise decision whether to grab it or not. Student should have holistic approach and not confine them with only their area of interest. First year is year of exploration and you will come across many opportunities for workshop, training sessions and internship etc. so consult your teachers and seniors about the same.

There is no dress code prescribed by the college. You can wear whatever you want but you should wear some decent and formals according to college. Since college is not enforcing you to wear particular dress code but you should know what to wear to look decent.

Yes, you can take direct admission in the college if you clear the cutoff. You don't have to go with any GDPI. After clearing the cutoff you get the admission offer from the college and within few days you have to pay full year fees in one installment to confirm your seat.

College life is very boring, there are no fest, culture fest and nothing like that. There are no extracurricular activities done in the college. You just get to attend the regularly classes and get back to your home or room. There are only college elections held in extra to the classes and nothing more than that.
