The cutoff ranks for 2023 admission for KCET ranged from 10,430 in Computer Science, General category to 44,180 in Civil Engineering for SC/ST category. COMEDK UGET cutoff ranks extended from 7,411 (Computer Science, General) to 23,439 (Mechanical Engineering SC/ST). Specifically, cutoff ranks are: KCET – Mechanical 17440, Electrical 20150, Civil 22450; COMEDK – Mechanical 12319, Computer Science - SC/ST 14819. Yes, students can get admitted to Rao Bahadur Y Mahabaleswarappa Engineering College B.E./B.Tech course without writing COMEDK UGET. According to the information and criterion provided in the RYMEC, it was understood that those students who get Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) scores, as well as students who get valid JEE Main scores, can apply to this university. Rao Bahadur Y Mahabaleswarappa Engineering College (RYMEC) appointment is based on certain admission conditions. Candidates should have passed 10+2 for all UG courses with a minimum of 45 % marks for Gen and 40% for SC/ST jointly with Physics Maths and Chemistry or Biology or Computer Science. The scores in the KCET/COMEDK/JEE Main are taken into account. For admission in PG courses, 50% marks for general and 45 % marks for SC/ST in any faculty of Bachelor Degree is compulsory.
