Academic fee for B.E. / B.Tech is between INR 80,000 to INR 1,20,000 per year depending upon the course and mode of admission chosen. It mainly comprises of tuition fee and examination fee, along with other administrative charges. Normally students admitted through UPSEE counseling fall in the lower bracket. More over there are management quota seats, which may attract more fee charges. In addition to tuition fees, hostel and mess charges are extra, and these vary with the facilities availed. S.D. College of Engineering and Technology having 85% seats of Karnataka Government and 15% seats of Management quota seats. Eligibility: 45 % + marks in 10+2 (40% for SC/ST) with Physics, Chemistry, Math. Direct admission criteria:

- 85%+ in 10+2: 100% tuition fee waiver

- 80-84.99%: 50% tuition fee waiver

- 75-79.99%: 25% tuition fee waiver

Application fee: INR 1,000-1,500. Admission process: Application on line, scrutiny of documents and interview. They have 90 seats under management quota every year.
