For the flagship MBA course, the institute accepts exams such as MAT, CAT, ATMA, CMAT, etc. For UG admissions to courses such as BSc, BBA, BCom, and others, students can apply on the basis of merit in their previous qualifying examination.

SBIIMS has released the report of placement drive and the list of students placed during the academic year 2023-24. A total of 160 students were placed during SAIBALAJI International Institute of Management Sciences placements 2024. The top recruiting and leading companies during the placement visit include Deloitte, PwC, Hindware, and many others. The institute has also released the NIRF report of the placement drive 2024.
