Sambalpur University is one of the oldest and most reputed universities in Odisha and it is ranked A by NAAC. Sambalpur University offers MBA courses in its affiliated college IIM sambalpur. The eligibility criteria for MBA in the different specialisation are:-

Rural management 45% marks in graduation.

Agribusiness management.

45% marks in graduation.

Executive MBA any graduate degree with 2 years of experience.

The Basic entrance exam accepted for MBA are CAT, MAT, ATMA, JMAT, XMAT etc.

The basic core criteria for MBA is-

Graduation with 50% or above marks.

10+2 with 45% or above marks.

The student must have passed a 10+2 or above examination from a recognised board. The compulsory subjects need to be Physics and Mathematics, chemistry. Minimum marks required in the qualifying exam is 60% aggregate. For SC and ST candidates, the minimum marks requirement is reduced by 10% (50%).

Admissions these days are based on some or the other entrance exam. Hence, marks of 12th don't matter much. However, I would like to point out to you that more than 45% marks of fresh engineering graduates could not get jobs last year. Hence, I would like you to have a second look at your desire to become an engineer. Best wishes.
