To pursue SAP you need to be a graduate. So, after diploma in ECE, you may pursue lateral B.Tech course which enables you to enter directly in the second year.

- To take admission, you need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.
- Eligibility for admission to lateral entry course is a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the Diploma course.
