We can never compare two institutions based of any factors. Both Symbiosis and SMU are reputed universities in their areas.
If I was in your place I would have chosen Symbiosis, (Please note, its my personal choice)

On completion of BCA by distance learning you are eligible for MBA like any other regular student. You may apply to any college of your choice and appear for their entrance exams.

any University which accept minimum 55% (like Mumbai, Pune, Madras, Pondicherry) admission is subject to clering a written test and other conditions

I would like to inform you that if you are planing to go for SMU for distance then don't do it because UGC has banned this university for distance education. don't waste your precious time & money.
