Eligibility: Passing 12th grade in a relevant stream with a minimum of 45% aggregate 

Selection criteria: WBJEE/ JEE Main + WBJEE Counselling 

Reserved category: A minimum of 40% aggregate for candidates belonging to reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD 

Subjects: Passing 12th grade with Physics and Mathematics, and any one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Computer Application, or Technical Vocational Subject 

English: Passing 12th grade in English with at least 30% marks 

Board: The board of the qualifying examination must be recognised by the Central Government or State Government 

The eligibility criteria for admission to the Master of Computer Application (MCA) programme at Siliguri Institute of Technology are :

-Graduation Requirement: A candidate must have completed their graduation to be eligible for the MCA programme at Siliguri Institute of Technology.
- Mathematics Proficiency: Having a background in Mathematics/Computer Science/Computer Application/Information Practices/Statistics at the 10+2 level or equivalent is necessary.
- Entrance Exam: Admission to the MCA programme is based on the score obtained in the WBJEE JECA examination, followed by counselling.
- Intake Capacity: The MCA course at Siliguri Institute of Technology has an intake capacity of 60 students.

• The intermediate (10+2) exam or its equivalent must have been passed by the candidates.
• With mathematics and physics as mandatory disciplines, a minimum of 45% in each subject is needed.
• Additionally, candidates need to have taken one of the following courses: biology, biotechnology, chemistry, or technical vocational courses.
• The minimum score needed for applicants in reserved categories (such as SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PwD) in all of the aforementioned topics combined is 40%.
• Candidates must have received at least 30% in the English portion of the "10+2" exam.
• The relevant State or Federal governments must acknowledge the qualifications examination board.
