Yes, SVNIRTAR is a Govt. owned institution. SVNIRTAR, Cuttack was formerly a part of Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), and was known as Central Institute of Prosthetic and Orthotic Training (CIPOT). SVNIRTAR, Orissa is now directly under the administrative and financial control of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, formerly the Ministry of Welfare.

Hello, Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research provides three Bachelor Degree courses in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics and Orthotics and three Postgraduate courses of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Prosthetics and Orthotics to the students. For UG courses, students will be required to cpomplete their 12th class and those who wish to get into postgraduate courses can do so after completing their undergraduate degree in the related subjects. These information however I have written as per basic eligibility standards of the colleges.
