Candidates must get at least 45% of the possible points in their 10+2 coursework in Physics, Mathematics and one of Chemistry, Computer Science or another subject in order to be eligible for Techno Main Salt Lake's B.E./B.Tech programme (40% for reserved categories). WBJEE or JEE Main scores determine admission; WBJEE counseling fills 80% of seats, JEE Main fills 10% and management quota fills 10%. Depending on the branch, the 2024 WBJEE cutoff varied from 2,000 to 20,000 ranks. Verification of documents and counseling are necessary.

Students can pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in M.Tech across multiple specialisations at Techno Main Salt Lake. To get into the course, students must have passed graduation in the relevant field from a recognised university. Further, TMSL M.Tech admission is entrance-based. Students need to provide either a valid GATE or WBUT PGET score to be eligible. Eligible candidates can visit the official website of the institute and apply for the M.Tech course by filling out the online application form available.

To get into the BTech programme offered at Techno Main Salt Lake, students are required to fulfil the admission criteria as prescribed by the institute. Aspirants must have passed Class 12 or equivalent in Science stream. Students are shortlisted based on a valid score in either the national or state-level engineering entrance exam (JEE Main, WBJEE). The minimum eligibility criteria for techno main salt lake, kolkata is that the Candidates must secure min 45% mark in 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship.
Also the Candidate Must have passed in English language in the 12th standard (10+2) or equivalent examination with at least 30% marks.
Candidate appearing in the 12th standard or its equivalent examination are also eligible to write the qualify

MCA | Candidate who qualify eligibility as given below can also apply: Module 4 Candidate must have obtained a BSc Honours degree under (10+2+3) pattern in any discipline from a UGC recognised University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks in Aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) along with at least 55% marks in Mathematics. They must secure at least 60% marks in Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent level from recognised Boards with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at each level. Candidate have to secure 60% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) at each level of education. |
