The total fee for an MCA course at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology is INR 3.2 lakh. On the other hand, Tezpur University MCA fees are INR 24,000. Hence, Tezpur University is more affordable for MCA courses compared to SMIT. According to the information available on the official website of Shiksha, the average placement package offered to MSc graduates at SMIT Sikkim, Manipal University is INR 4.8 lakh. On the other hand, the average package offered to MSc graduates at Tezpur University ranges from INR 3.6 Lacs to INR 4 lakh.

SMIT Manipal University offers BSc courses in various types, such as general, honours, research and integrated courses. Tezpur University mostly offers integrated BSc courses. The total number of seats offered in BSc courses at SMIT, Manipal University is 140, whereas 13 seats are offered at Tezpur University. The Tezpur University does not have provision for Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) course. It mainly offers science, engineering humanities and management programmes at the undergraduate as well as at postgraduate level.
