M.Tech at Tezpur university is better than M.Tech at SMVDU because the placements at Tezpur university provides much better options and salaries as compared to SMVDU.
In comparison of both the universities it can be seen that the highest package of M.Tech at SMVDU in year 2022 was 3.6 LPA while at tezpurTuniversity was 4.01 LPA.

Tezpur University MBA application for 2026 admission is open. The last date of submission of online application for MBA is January 31, 2026. For late application with additional fee of INR 200 is March 22, 2026. Tezpur University usually concludes the application process for admission to the MBA programme between January and March. Candidates willing to pursue MBA at Tezpur University must fill out the application form within the specified time period by paying the required registration fee for final submission. Candidates are advised to keep the required documents along with them while completing the MBA application process.

Tezpur University inducts candidates for the MBA programmes based on scores of various national-level entrance exams such as CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ ATMA/ CMAT. Candidates based on their scores in the aforementioned exams will be shortlisted for the PI and GD round. Those who qualify for the PI and GD round will have to report to the admission cell at Tezpur University to complete the final admission formalities, i.e. document verification and fee payment leading to final seat allotment.

Yes, Tezpur University offers a two-year MBA programme to students. Candidates who aspire to pursue MBA at Tezpur University must appear for one among XAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ GMAT/ CMAT exams. The aforementioned exam score must be valid until the day of Personal Interaction. Final merit for MBA admission is released on the basis of a valid score obtained by students in the entrance exam along with their performance in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
