University of North Dakota

The University of North Dakota (UND) was established in 1883, six years before North Dakota became a state. If we talk about accreditation, then UND is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Also, UND is a Carnegie Doctoral Research institute. In other words, it is a top-tier research university with an international reputation for research in nutrition, health sciences, energy and environmental protection, aerospace and engineering.

The University of North Dakota is the only university in North Dakota that has medical and law schools. UND has the state’s the largest 521-acre campus. Recently, UND built Nistler College of Business & Public Administration and a new Memorial Union. T

Below are the requirements of the University of North Dakota:

• Applicant must have passed high school

• Applicants must pay a non-refundable fee of USD 35

• Applicants must submit official transcripts of their prior education

• An official Diploma or degree certificate is a must if the applicant has graduated

• Applicants must check their complete statements of finance, including the proof of financial support. 

• To be admitted as a freshman to UND, students must successfully complete 14 units of high school core courses:

• English (4 units)

• Math (3 units of Algebra I or above)

• Lab Science (3 units)

• Social Studies (3 units)

• 1 additional unit from any category above (English, Math, Lab Science or Social Studies) or world language (including foreign languages, Native American languages or American Sign.
