Hi Naman,
XIMR is a premier Jesuit institute situated in the St. Xavier's College campus in Mumbai. It primarily focuses on learning and development of students through exposure to great learning material created within the country and globally. It has a distinguished set of faculty, both visiting and core. It has a functional computer lab, a well-equipped library, access to Xavier's gymkhana and canteen. If all this is what you are looking for then XIMR is the place to be.
MMS in any college in Bombay is a two-year's course. At the end of it you'll have a university-approved master's degree which is equivalent to an MBA, so it does lar

Hi Samruddhi,
Basis last year's cutoff, you have a decent chance of getting in, atleast though ILS if not CAP. This year's intake would depend on the number of applicants with a higher cutoff. I'd suggest you apply anyway if you are keen on studying at XIMR.
Hope this helps!

None of the college above-mentioned guarantees 100% placements, although NL Dalmia has good placements than all of above, you can go for Sydenham and KJ Somaiya and JBIMS for 100% placements.

Hi Aayush,
Unfortunately, it is mandatory for an applicant to have appeared for MHCET. Other exam scores are only considered along with CET scores in special categories. Hence as per last year's rules, you are not eligible to apply without CET scores.
Since the rules are under review every year and may change you can always call up the college closer to admission time and confirm.
Hope this helps.

Hi Clive,
For Institute level seats, please call up the college once the CAP rounds start to know about the current year's process. Last year (2016), applications were taken telephonically once the MHCET results were declared and candidates were notified by the college of their interview details and procedures. However, to be on the safer side you should keep checking with the college then.
For minority seats, you'll have to fill in your DTE form with the required Minority details and submit the required documents. Once you are registered under the minority category there, the CAP rounds will take care of the procedure forward and the in

Hi Gershwin,
Placement season is on, a bit slower than before, due to the changes in the market caused by demonetisation and other factors. Cannot assess the average placement as placement process is still underway. However to my knowledge, so far the highest package has been Rs 10 lakhs per annum.
Hope this helps!

Hi Sakshi,
In order to get admission via the DTE CAP rounds, MHCET 2017 scores will be accepted.
More details about the procedure can be found on the DTE website as it changes marginally every year. You can submit your other exam scores through this application and the highest of those will be considered for seats other than CAP like Institute Level Seats or Minority Seats (For Catholics).
I am unsure about ATMA and CMAT scores cut offs as we currently don't have any candidate enrolled via that. But we do a student enrolled with MAT score in All India category. For more details on last year's CET cut offs kindly refer to the admission me

Hi Mohit,
To be eligible for admission to XIMR, you will have to appear for the MHCET 2017 exam. Once you have secured a score you will have to apply to the college through the DTE prescribed CAP rounds or directly to the College for Institute Level Seats. More details about the procedure can be found on the DTE website as it changes marginally every year. You can submit your other exam scores through this application and the highest of those will be considered for seats other than CAP like Institute Level Seats or Minority Seats (For Catholics).

XIMR takes its candidates primarily based on CET scores through the CAP rounds. However, if you must apply for institute level seats, your other entrance exam scores will be taken into consideration and you will be considered in the All India(AI) category.
For the 2016-2018 batch we had no candidate who was accepted on their CMAT score, however we did have one AI candidate who got in through their 99.31 MAT score (Rank 519).
Hope this answers your question!
