The excellence and quality that Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital is known for have been upheld through years. Accredited by the Indian government, the Dental Council of India, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and the Malaysian Dental Council, the college has developed into one of the nation's most advanced and comprehensive dental educational institutions. Approximately 100 BDS and 49 MDS students are trained annually in nine specialisations at Dental College. There are 14 courses available in 1 stream, with 160 seats available overall. Meritorious students can also apply for the DPU Merit Scholarship at the college.

B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering from a recognised board with minimum 45%. |
BBA | Candidate must have passed in 10+2 Examination or equivalent with min 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category) in any discipilne from any recognised Board. |
BDS | Candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained mentioned percentage taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. In respect of PwBD candidates as per NMC and DCI Regulations, the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Botany & Zoology)/Biotechnology taken together shall be 40% instead of 50%. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for theNational Eligibility Cum Entrance Test'. However, this has been a subject matter of challenge before the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi, Hon'ble High Court of Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, and Hon'ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur The lower age limit is 17 years on or before 31st Dec of the year of admission (born on or before 31.12.2006) Result awaited candidates can also apply. |
