Apeejay Stya University has not offered direct admission to the BA LLB programme at the School of Legal Studies solely on the basis of merit for any entrance tests.Eligible candidates are those who qualify for the requirements, which include passing the 10+2 examinations with the said marks, and then subject themselves to a university entrance test and an interview.By all accounts, the university has some flexibility in granting preference over others in special cases where candidates have achieved much higher academic glory, but the rule normally goes by is that of the entrance examination and thereafter interview. It may be best to check with the admissions office of the institution or its official website for any specific provision that would allow entry direct under such exceptions.

Getting admission in SMS may be moderately competitive because different programs have varying competitive ratios. For undergraduate courses, candidates must have minimum aggregate marks of 50% in their 12th standard exams. Admission for such courses is given via entrance exams, like the SMS Online Test for BBA and BCA and JEE Main for B.Tech.Post graduate MBA programs require students to pass entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, or CMAT and later have an interview. The cutoff is also usually in the range of 55% to 65% for most institutes based on entrance exams. Overall, it is very structured, but still has to qualify based on criteria and perform well in the entrance exam to get selected.

On the whole, although direct admission is possible at the Apeejay Stya University's School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, it is generally dependant upon eligibility as per the qualification of the candidate for admission.M.Pharma programs most often, if not always, require eligibility criteria, either possessing a relevant degree (most likely B.Pharm) and minimum percentage specified by the university, or just an entrance test or interview for some selected courses, while the course admits students on a pure merit basis in other courses especially if the degree demonstrates solid performance in that relevant field.
