The selection criteria for AITAM MBA programme in 2025 is based on both merit and management quota.  On the basis of merit, students are admitted through the AP ICET scorecard. Around 70% of the seats are filled through merit and the rest 70% is done through management quota. AITAM BTech scholarships includes the Pragati Scholarship Scheme offered by AICTE. It is awarded to support girl students pursuing technical degrees. Eligible students admitted to the first year of a degree-level course may avail INR 50,000 per annum for up to four years. For students admitted directly to the second year, the scholarship is available for a maximum of three years. The scholarship amount is meant to cover tuition fees and other expenses. 

AITAM BTech programme seat intake is as follows: BTech in Computer Science and Engineering has the highest intake with 360 seats. Following that, 300 seats are offered in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Information Technology each have 120 seats.
