The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the session 1 result will now be out by February 16. The result link, once active, will be hosted at jeemain.nta.nic.in, and the candidates will need their application number and password to check the result. The JEE Mains result will be released as a scorecard under the candidate's login.

NTA will release the JEE Main 2026 result link for scorecard download at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE result link will be activated by February 16. Along with the result, NTA will announce the JEE Mains topper list 2026. Check here JEE Mains ka result kab aayega and real-time updates below.

JEE Main 2026 Result Live: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main 2026 result by February 16 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. To check the result candidaes need their application number and password. The JEE Mains result is made available as a scorecard under the candidates' logins only and is not sent separately to any candidates.

On the JEE Main 2026 session 1 result, candidates can check their subject-wise percentile and overall percentile. This year, the top 2.5 lakh candidates of JEE Mains 2026 will be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced for IIT admission. However, the cutoff marks needed by candidates to qualify for JEE Advanced is not announced with the session 1 result, but with the session 2 result.

How is the JEE Mains NTA Percentile Calculated?

The raw scores of candidates are converted to percentile scores in each subject, and the aggregate raw score is converted to percentile marks. This is done in both sessions of ethe xam.

What After JEE Mains 2026 Results?

After the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results are declared, candidates have to decide if they want to appear for the Session 2 exam to be held between April 2 and 9. 

The candidates who score 99.99 percentile and above can start their JEE Advanced preparation for IIT admission.

If your score is between 85-94 percentile, then you should prepare for the JEE Main session 2 exam and try to improve your score.

Candidates with a percentile below 85 should consider appearing for other entrance exams like BITSAT, VITEEE, or state-level CETs (MHT-CET, WBJEE, KCET, TS EAMCET).

JEE Main exam is not mandatory for admission in Prestige University BTech courses. Students can apply with a valid score of other entrance exams as well. The other accepted exams are CUET/ SAT/ ACT and PU Aptitude Test.

Yes, SRM do accepts JEE Main score for admission to a few programs at certain campuses. As per the details available in the official website - "Any Candidate qualified in IIT JEE Main/SAT will be admitted directly even if the candidate doesn't take SRMJEEE."

Yes, UV Patel College of Engineering accepts JEE Main marks for taking admission in the BE/BTech courses. The college also accepts score from GUJCET exam for BTech admissions. Candidates have to undergo counselling and fill the application form of college.
