Placements: Placements were pretty good when compared to the previous batches. Computer Science engineering had a lot of top companies taking a lot of students. Salary packages ranged from 25 Lacs per annum to 3 LPA. Companies like Citi corp, Goldman Sachs, HCL, Siemens, Mahindra came for placements.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities in CEG. Classrooms are all well instructed with projectors and boards with space enough to accommodate around 100 students. There are separate departments with laboratories. The campus is entirely Wi-Fi enabled and there is a ground with fields for all kinds of sports.
Faculty: The faculty are all well trained and all are very supportive. The curriculum is well framed with informative laboratory courses and knowledgeable theory courses. Apart from it, we also have compulsory internship in out curriculum which helps us gain more practical knowledge.
Other: We also conduct a variety of intercollege events which are both technical and cultural.

Srishti Entrance and Aptitude Test (SEAT) is conducted by Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology to shortlist aspirants for admission in UG as well as PG level design courses offered by it. SEAT exam is usually conducted in the month of April and June, every year.

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET)is the test for Medical Physics. It is a 3-year doctoral programme concerning the field of Physics. The eligibility for the program is qualifying M.Sc in Physics or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 55% and above from a recognized university. Course Fee: INR 2,000 to 2 lacs Average salary: INR 2 to 12 lacs per annum
