Students can also apply for M.Pharma admission through some major entrance examinations such as: NIPER, GPAT, OJEE, BITS HD. Students must have finished and secured 55-60% aggregate marks in their Bpharm degree from a college sanctioned by the Pharmacy Council of India. The minimum credit points required for the award of M. Pharm. degree by JSS University, Mysuru is 95. The 2023 application portal for MPharm was open till June 15 and the entrance exam was conducted online on June 21, June 23, and June 24

The college also places more than 98% of its M.Pharm students in leading pharmaceutical industries. According to Shiksha, the placement cell at JSS Mysore is very good and places almost all students from various departments of M.Pharm in top companies like CIPLA, ELI LILY, and RANBAXY. Pharmaceutics is a good option for those interested in the development and manufacturing of drugs. Regulatory affairs is a better option for those interested in regulatory compliance and managing the regulatory requirements for drug development and marketing.
