Getting into DSCET is considered to be a challenging experience. Why? It requires applicants to have a 10+2 degree with specific subjects (Physic.Com & Mathematics) and an aggregate percentage of 50% on their merit list for admission. Evaluating whether to meet B.E/B (technology) or the personal cutoff ranks, or TNEA counseling requirements. TNEA allows students to participate in the TNU counseling process for their preferred courses by meeting the cutoff ranks. What is the procedure? 2. Merit is the basis for qualifying, while short-term competitive exams are primarily administered through TNEA counseling and B.E./BTech students opt for counseling by DSCET. In addition, each stream conducts its own counselling sessions. In highly competitive fields such as Computer Science and Engineering (CSEs) or Electronics & Communication Eng, admission for M.E./M.Tech is often decided on specific course requirements; TANCET scores in certain courses or other entrance exams are usually taken into account. In addition, there is no established TNEA cutoffs for DSCET and the scores may vary according to category and stream. TANCET mandates that candidates consider academic qualifications and work experience along with marks obtained in various entrance exams for PG courses before making any changes.
