I have scored 47.62 percentile in CAT and I belong to SC category . Can I get admission to IIT MADRAS

There is no specific CAT cutoff for DMS IIT Madras. The selection process consists the followings.
1. Shortlisting Process : COMPOSITE SCORE will be calculated with due weights to :-
a) CAT score
b) Past academic performance,
c) Work experience

2. Final selection : Candidates from all categories shortlisted based on the composite score shall be called for a Written Ability Test(WAT) and Personal Interview(PI) to a given location. The final selection will be based on the following with due weights to each of the components:

h) Composite score
i) Other Achievements
Your CAT score is quite low, but if satisfying the other parameters as mentioned above can make it possible. So good luck

Hi nupur. Yes, IIT Madras is one of the only IIT which accepts the score of MAT exam for giving admission in their college. For IIT Madras the eligibility criteria are you need to have at least 60% in graduation for general category students and 55% for SC/ST students. Good luck!

Department of Management Studies at IIT-Madras and Mumbai requires 60% marks in graduation (any stream) for MBA admission in both categories as regular or sponsored for general candidate. Hence, you are not eligible here. DOMS at IISc also req
