GIBS Business School has a strong commitment to collaborating with industries and educational institutions in order to provide its students with enriching learning experiences, as well as opportunities globally. By collaborating with industry partners, GIBS establishes valuable relationships that create opportunities for guest lectures, workshops, consulting projects, corporate talks and networking opportunities for students - these types of partnerships link theoretical knowledge from the classroom to actual business practices, greatly increasing the relevance of the curriculum and readiness for entry into the workforce upon graduation. Additionally, GIBS has established international academic partnerships through the signing of MoUs with institutions including; the SBS Swiss Business School (Zurich, Switzerland) and EGIIT (Malta). These partnerships promote collaboration between GIBS students and faculty and partner institutions, such as through student/faculty exchange programs, joint research initiatives, dual degree options, global immersion programs, and participation in joint academic events. Finally, through offerings such as Global Immersion Programs (e.g. opportunities for students to participate in industrial visits, workshops, guest lectures, etc.) and other international exposure programs, students at GIBS will have access to different ways of experiencing international business perspectives and global cultures while studying in a country such as Singapore, Malaysia, or Dubai.Overall, through industry and international collaboration, students are able to gain real-world experience, develop networks internationally, and enhance their learning experiences beyond what the traditional classroom provides.
