Yes, besides regular entrance-based admissions, admission can be secured through the management quota as well. Entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, and state-level tests are accepted under the regular merit-based process. There are limited seats available under the management quota, and this is governed by a separate fee structure and selection criteria. Candidates will still need to qualify according to the minimum eligibility criteria set by the institute: minimum academic percentage, interview performance, etc. The management quota is ideal for students who want direct admission and, at the same time, are still evaluated through GD/PI rounds.

The students of GIBS are very active in organizing cultural festivals, leadership activities, and sports events throughout the year. There are a number of student-driven clubs and committees on the campus for planning fests, talent shows, workshops, and competitions, which provide hands-on experience for students in managing events and working in teams. Be it cultural celebrations, leadership initiatives, or big sports meets, students themselves take up the responsibility for the coordination, management, and execution of events that make campus life vibrant and engaging.

The candidate can apply to both the PGDM as well as the BBA programs. However, they are dealt with separately because each of them has different eligibility criteria, different selection processes, and differences in academic requirements. Students who fulfill the respective eligibility criteria can send applications for both courses. Each course will have its respective evaluation, like academic screening, entrance exam scores in the case of PGDM, interviews, or any other evaluation. However, the final admission will depend upon the choice of the programme the candidate would like to pursue after receiving offers.

While GIBS does not publish the official percentage of multinational companies visiting the campus, the available placement data and lists of recruiters show that a significant portion of companies participating in campus recruitment are well-known MNCs. The top recruiters often include global brands such as Accenture, Wipro, Mercedes-Benz, Asian Paints, and other multinational firms that regularly hire across domains such as marketing, finance, HR, analytics, and operations. Student discussions and external Q&A sources also indicate that a large share of visiting companies could be multinational in nature, though this figure varies year to year and is not formally disclosed. Overall, the presence of multiple established international and global-presence companies indicates strong exposure to MNC recruitment opportunities for students.
