Congratulations on scoring 97 Percentile in CAT. I would say that there are chances for you to get a call. Also you have a strong score in past academic years. Hope for the best and also try out for other institutes along with IIM.

Your chances depend on how you score at the entrance test. A score of 99 percentile should give you bright chances to get into the said colleges. XLRI has its own opne test whereas IIMs follow CAT.

No, there is no problem if you take one year gap but you need to justify the gap and also provide a gap certificate at the time of admission.
