To be honest, yes, it is definitely going to have an effect on your admissions. You have to score very high in CAT to get a decent college and also be prepared with a very good and genuine reason as to why you have so many backlogs.

Your chances to get admission in top business schools like IIM's wholly depend on the CAT score you get. According to my knowledge, minimum of 98 percentile will be required for getting admission in these colleges.

It has total 6 campuses in the country but IIMC Delhi is the main campus and is very popular for some courses. There is no separate syllabus prescribed by the University for the each subjects Entrance Examination but on the basis of every years question paper we have a common syllabus to prepare for the entrance examination and you must prepare for the entrance examination by covering the whole subject and the topic given below in the syllabus:

No, without CAT admission is not possible in IIM. It is compulsory to attempt it for admission. You can go for private colleges for admission if you have not given entrance exam. Thanks!!

Yes, you are eligible to apply. The criteria is you need to have more than 50% aggregate in 10th, 12th and graduation. So if you get a call from them, you will get through if you clear their GD-PI process.
