The admission process of B.tech in Mechanical Engineering courses depends entirely upon the college or university from where the student is planning on doing the course.
For the admission in KCC, students need to get a minimum of 50% in their 12th boards. They can get admission with or without entrance also.
The general admission procedure of Mechanical Engineering courses require the students to fill in the application forms of any entrance exam that the universities are conducting and then registering themselves before the last date. Upon filling up the form, students must prepare for the entrances and try to get good score in it. The candidates then have to produce their documents for verification by the universities to be considered eligible for the course. The candidates must pass the eligibility criteria and instructions given by the respective college or institute before applying for the ME courses. Most of the universities conduct the admission process online mode which makes it easier for candidates to complete the procedure.
Some colleges have a certain percentage of seats reserved as management quota.
The best college for B.tech in Mechanical Engineering in Delhi/NCR is KCC Institute of technology and Management. This is the dream college of students. KCC Institute of Technology and Management is approved by All India Council of Technical Education, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. It is affiliated to Abdul Kalam Technical University which is the considered best for technical courses. KCC Institute is 7th best engineering college in North India. Both Ballarpur Institute of Technology (BIT Maharashtra) and Lexicon Management Institute of Leadership and Excellence are great in their own ways. Lexicon MILE is distinguished in terms of campus life, academics and curricular activities. I feel that if you have a good knowledge Lexicon gives you a good exposure. To get placed at a desired organisation you need to be hands on with practical knowledge. Apart from this, placements depend on your performance at campus. But taking a lead over other colleges in the city, Lexicon Mile, Pune has a record of placing students at permanent positions in renowned organisations. Just to mention a few, Accenture, Deloitte, ICICI Stock MIND, Infosys, Kotak Mahindra Bank and The Times of India are among the top recruiters. Renowned MNCs are their recruiting partners namely Amazon, Volkswagen, Sony, Coca-Cola, Tata and others. You can also checkout their webpage for detailed information.
