A pass in 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the two subjects: Mathematics or Biology.A pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.The candidate should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.There shall be reservation of seats for the students belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other Backward Classes in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Administration as the case may be from time to time.

To apply for Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) at JSS College of Pharmacy Mysore, candidates must have completed 17 years of age and passed any of the following examinations: 1. D.Pharm qualifying examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India 2. 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology. The course fees are INR 3.5 Lacs per annum. The learning process includes various teaching methods like case-based and problem-based learning, simulation exercises, group activities, seminar and assignments, bedside teaching, case discussions, and practice site visits. The course is divided into two phases: Phase I and Phase II, where Phase II includes internship training in various hospital departments. The examination pattern consists of three internal exams and one annual examination for every subject at the end of every academic year.

The college is strict when it comes to eligibility requirements for Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) at JSS College of Pharmacy Mysore. The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and/or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually, with a minimum age of 17 years on or before December 31st of the year of admission. Additionally, for lateral entry to the third semester, a pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India is required. The college also has specific requirements for attendance, with a minimum of 80% attendance in individual courses, and a minimum of 50% marks in each course to be declared pass and eligible for grades.
